If you live in San Antonio, you better be wearing black and silver today- it’s a game day.  Being a native New Yorker and novice athletic supporter, I have to admit that I never thought I would love any sports team, let alone one from Texas. I have grown to love a lot about Texas, especially San Antonio, including the Spurs. I love watching games so much that I have now begun to scout-out where I can eat and drink during game days. I like to find a good deal on booze, on something to munch on and of course a place with a big screen.

Here are my top 3 picks….

Drew’s American Grill: Great drink specials and 25% off appetizers during 4-7pm (pre-game) 1/2 off bottles of wine on Mondays and Tuesdays, a great big screen and of course a wonderful variety of food.

2. Stay Golden Social House: This is The Brooklynite’s baby sister, great drinks and drink specials ( $4 during the game) They also host some of my favorite food trucks (she-she-ate and tailgate bistro).

3. Tycoon Flats: They have a fun drink special list and great burger specials- a big screen shows up for the game, and my personal favorite, kiddie play things and area for little ones.

More Spurs Swag after we WIN:

Valero offers FREE coffee the morning after a win. I know to most of you this is old news- but I have to admit my first time getting my coffee was an experience in-and-of-itself. I admit I thought I was stealing something, I also got very caught up with all the flavors of creamer.

Daily Bread offers a $2 muffin and coffee special, after a win (note: they are closed on Mondays).

What are your favorite Spurs specials and spots to watch the game?
